MARCUS SMITH
Marcus Smith is an Emmy award-winning executive producer at KTLA in Los Angeles, California. He also serves in the same role for the WeHo Pride Parade that airs on the television station. Smith, a Milwaukee native by way of Chicago, began his love for journalism at 12-years-old as an intern for a TV station in his hometown. He was also a correspondent for the hit, Emmy award-winning youth news magazine, Making the Grade. Outside of the studio, he’s a supporter of foster care/adoption advocacy and placement organizations Extraordinary Families and Raise A Child. He serves on the Board of the Inner City Youth Orchestra of Los Angeles. And his cousin Thee Sherri Shepherd in his biggest cheerleader. —K.M.
