OMARI JAHI AARONS-MARTIN
Throughout his life Omari Jahi Aarons-Martin has been the “only one" in a number of rooms—whether he was the only Black person, person of color, only out LGBTQIA+ person, or the youngest. Being the "only one" pushed him to make sure he was never the last. Now, as Executive Director and COO of the National African American Insurance Association, Aarons-Martin is committed to solidifying workplace inclusion by developing strategies that help companies thrive in diversity. He also finds passion in carving out paths for others as a minister with the African Methodist Episcopal Church. —K.M.
