Troy Blackwell Jr. lives comfortably at the intersection of culture, politics and strategic communications. He serves as a Senior Advisor and Spokesman for the Biden-Harris administration as well as Chairman of the New York City Gay Men’s Chorus, Youth Pride Chorus and Tonewall, the queer pop a cappella band of NYCGMC. As a bilingual crisis manager with a passion for public relations, Blackwell has counseled and supported nationally recognized organizations and campaigns, such as the Obama White House, Vice President Kamala Harris, Nike, SEIU and Color of Change.
