For the last few years, finding outlets of joy and escape have been universally more important than ever. Thankfully Kaytranada’s music is answered prayers creating a safer space (in a warehouse or in our Air Pods) for us to feel the beat and receive that much needed release. The Haitian-Canadian musician undeniably lives in a lane of his own. This year, he released his latest project, <em>TIMELESS,</em> which includes features from Durand Bernarr, Childish Gambino, Anderson Paak, and other über talented artists. Throughout 2024, he’s taken his sounds and most beloved records around the world on a sold out concert tour. The Grammy Award winning artist has also made strides in the fashion industry. This year, Kaytranda appeared on the cover of <em>Numéro Netherlands</em> and <em>Puss Puss Magazine</em>. He’s also favored deejay by fashion brands such as Jaquemus, Lowe, and H&M and serves as a brand ambassador for Gucci. When Kaytranada isn't sitting on the front row at the fashion show, he will definitely be spinning the afterparty. — G.E.
