Some would say that music videos and stage performances have almost become a lost art form, however, Sean Bankhead is reviving both mediums with his visionary choreography. The Philadelphia native is an eight-time MTV VMA nominee for Best Choreography. Bankhead works with today’s biggest artists including Glorilla, Tate McRae, Lil Nas X, Normani, Cardi B, and more. He’s also responsible for the viral choreography featured in Victoria Monet’s “On My Mama” music video. Even though Bankhead’s role would be considered “behind the scenes,” it has certainly brought him forward to the spotlight. This year, he’s been recognized by esteemed outlets such as <em>The Los Angeles Times</em>, <em>Schön</em>, and<em> Wonderland</em> as one of the most talented and in-demand choreographers reviving the art of video and dance. — G.E.
