Carlos Nazario

It is easy to understand why the fashion industry is obsessed with fashion editor, stylist, and creative consultant Carlos Nazario. As Harper’s Bazaar’s Style Director at Large, Nazario styled breathtaking covers of Rihanna, Zoe Saldana, Miley Cyrus, and Kendrick Lamar. Internships with W, Marc Jacobs, and Katie Grand’s Love jumpstarted Nazario’s fashion career — which has since led to Nazario styling covers of T Magazine, M Magazine, and i-D. In 2020, Nazario styled Lizzo’s Vogue cover for the October issue that year and Naomi Campbell’s cover for the magazine’s November issue, which made Nazario the first Black stylist to style a Vogue cover in the publication’s history. Nazario’s talents are frequently sought after by designers such as Michael Kors, Nike, Fear of God, Lanvin, Burberry, Marni, Willy Chavarria, and Calvin Klein. He’s also lended his talents to celebs like Rosalia, Frank Ocean, and Anok Yi. This year, Nazario also contributed his vision to the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute’s  acclaimed 2025 Super Fine: Tailoring Black Style exhibition, styling the exhibition catalogue. From runways to cover shoots, Nazario leaves his artistic mark wherever he goes. Period.
