Laron Gigger is bringing Atlanta’s historic rollerskating culture everywhere he rolls. Known as “Laron Best” online, the professional skater, dancer, model, influencer, and actor dazzles in roller rinks — with Gigger doing flips, kicks, and splits that leave his over 800,000 followers on social media gagged. Gigger first discovered a love for skating in 2022, with him showing off his passion for skating through viral videos on social media. Since then, he’s become a rollerskating institution, having appeared on the HBO skating competition Roller Jam in 2024 with the Black queer skating crew Haus of Sk8, rolled down the runway in a Dsquared2 show as the first Black queer professional skate to do so in Milan, Italy, made history as Fahrenheit Skates’ first-ever brand ambassador, and released his first single “Glide” in September 2025. Gigger turned a hobby into a full-on career, and we’re more than inspired by his rollerskating rise.
