Through its stylish designs and genius marketing, coveted fashion brand Brandon Blackwood is one of the fastest growing names in fashion. While other designers are lucky enough for one of their designs to be coined as an “it bag,” Blackwood has mastered the art of creating and fostering his business into the “it brand.” This year, Blackwood’s bags have been carried by countless celebrities (it would probably be easier to name the celebrities that haven’t carried a Brandon Blackwood bag yet, if any). While he’s dominating the handbag industry, Blackwood has also expanded into footwear, outerwear and custom wardrobe. The designer actually created the brand’s first ever gown for Sheryl Lee Ralph when she won an Emmy Award last September. —G.E.
