“I can really do better in the world than maybe I can on one magazine,” said newly minted author Edward Enninful after he was pressed about any future plans for U.S. Vogue. Enninful currently serves as Vogue’s European editorial director and British Vogue’s first Black editor-in-chief— - a position he’s had since August 2017. Under his reign, Enninful has been widely praised for bringing more diversity to the magazine’s covers and was awarded an OBE for his services to diversity in the fashion industry. The accolades for Enninful didn't stop there as he was recognized by Business of Fashion as one of the 500 industry leaders shaping global fashion. Fans learned more about him from his book, A Visible Man: A Memoir and the accompanying film. Enniful has said: “My message is about inclusion and representation and I hope the film and my memoir inspire all to open doors and walk through.” —K.M.
