ERNEST WHITE II

Following in the footsteps of notable screen pioneers who called PBS home, including LeVar Burton, Fred Rogers, and Ellis Haizlip, Ernest White II is currently breaking barriers as the first and only Black person with their own travel television show, “Fly Brother,” currently on the public network. Not only does White’s presence on TV showcase an outstanding knowledge of culture and geography, but it’s truly a sight to behold to see a proud, Black, gay man in his element. As the founder and CEO of Presidio Pictures, a new film, television, and digital media studio centering BIPOC, LGBTQ+ and senior/elder narratives, look for White’s continued dedication to telling our stories. —E.F.
