He also hosts a podcast, Life Out Loud with LZ Granderson, which draws from his own lived experience as a gay, Black father. For his work, he has been recognized as Journalist of the Year by the National Lesbian and Gay Journalist Association and his columns have been honored by the National Association of Black Journalists.
