Multi-hyphenate might be an understatement when referring to Bishop Kevin E. Taylor. The Washington, D.C. native is lauded as an award-winning writer, producer, pastor, and speaker. For decades, Taylor has interviewed some of the entertainment’s most iconic acts, from Tina Turner, Patti LaBelle, Luther Vandross, Diana Ross, Anita Baker, Aaliyah, Maxwell, and Brandy. Taylor. Additionally, his resume includes producing award-winning programming for BET, like Testimony, Notarized, and Access Granted, through his production company TaylorMade Music Momentos. Production aside, Taylor penned several novels, including Jaded, Unclutter, Because He Lives, and Envy: The Darkest Shade of Green, all of which feature fully-realized relationships between Black gay men.
