In political journalism, Gerren Keith Gaynor’s voice can be heard far and wide. He serves as the White House Correspondent and Managing Editor of Politics for theGrio. Gaynor's journalism and editing work continues to dish out top notch coverage on the White House, Capitol Hill, and national issues. With this year’s landmark election, Gaynor has been on a nonstop press cycle. The Brooklyn native is typically providing the first on-the-ground reporting connected to the Biden-Harris administration, consistently asks questions on behalf of Black and LGBTQ+ communities and the intersection in between. This year, Gaynor was an honoree on the inaugural Black Professionals in International Affairs Power 50 list and won the James Baldwin Storyteller Award from LGBTQ+ health nonprofit TruEvolution. His recognitions are testament to his unwavering commitment towards using his pen to give Black America a voice while pushing our democracy towards a brighter tomorrow. — J.S.M.
