When Anna Wintour says yes, who else can say no? That’s the work life of Ibrahim Kamara, one of the freshest voices and visionaries truly shaping the landscape of the fashion industry. In addition to styling Vogue covers featuring supermodel Anok Yai and superstar Billie Eilish, the Sierra Leonean stylist also worked alongside Carine Roitfield to style Vogue World in Paris – a huge production and cast filled with the biggest celebrities, entertainers and personalities presented at the 2024 Olympics. When Kamara isn’t lending his expertise to editorials and commercial projects like Chanel campaigns, he splits his time as the Editor-in-Chief of Dazed and creative director of Off-White (the line created by the late great Virgil Abloh). This year, Kamara showcased the newest Off-White collection in New York for the very first time during NYFW. While his work is embraced by fashion’s most respected veterans, it’s Kamara’s ability to highlight, integrate, and form culture with his work that really makes it both brilliant and breathtaking. — G.E.
