Taking inspiration from his upbringing, Campbell Addy celebrates diversity, identity, and underrepresented beauty through the worlds he builds with his photography and film projects. Having studied fashion communications at Central Saint Martins in London, Addy picked up photography in his final year of university. His prowess with a camera became the precursor to launching his own magazine, Nii Journal, his casting and modeling agency, Nii Agency, and his fabulous career as a photographer. Addy’s work has been featured in exhibitions at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), 180 Studios, and he recently headlined the Ballarat International Foto Biennale in Australia with his solo exhibition I Love Campbell. Along with creating his own stories through his photo art, he’s also built a career as a celebrity photographer. This year, he captured striking images of public figures like F1 phenom Lewis Hamilton, Wicked star Cynthia Erivo, K-pop star Rosé, and fellow Native Son honoree Colman Domingo. With photo features in Vogue, Vogue Australia, Vogue China, GQ, Time, and Dazed, Addy has honed an unparalleled photography skillset.
