Damon Arnold

In the ever-changing journalistic landscape, Damon Arnold remains a trusted source for accurate, informative, and engaging local news. After starting his career at South Georgia’s WALB News in 2017, Arnold launched his own show, The Breakdown, which highlighted news on crime and community issues. The Breakdown’s success led to Arnold landing a spot as a crime expert on Nancy Grace’s podcast Crime Stories. The Missouri native left Georgia for St. Louis’s KMOV News in 2021, where he hosted My St. Louis Live and Great Day St. Louis. This year, Arnold scored his first Emmy for the piece “On-(H)air: Natural Truths. Shedding light on Black hair in TV journalism.” And Arnold continues to break barriers in the news industry and provide audiences with the information they need to know.
