As the HIV virus continues to ravage our community, Darwin Thompson is at the forefront of the mission to eradicate the epidemic offering radically compassionate prevention and innovative education about treatment resources to those in need of them. As the Corporate Social Responsibility Director at Gilead Sciences, Thompson focuses on the pharmaceutical company’s efforts to integrate social, environmental, and ethical concerns into their business model. As part of his role, Thompson frequently serves as a speaker on HIV education, as seen on FOX 5 Atlanta, at the AIDS Philanthropy Summit, and National Symposium to End Youth Homelessness, making him a vital resource for learnings related to HIV and health equity.
