Dr. Leo Moore’s insights and expertise on social media are empowering men to take an active role in managing their health. Hailing from Alabama, the Los Angeles-based doctor and social media personality serves as the LA County Department of Health’s medical director of clinic services. Dr. Moore oversees several clinics with specific focus on refugee health, tuberculosis, and sexual health, and is known as a leading specialist in HIV and STI prevention. Men’s Health named him the 2024 Ultimate Men’s Health Guy and POZ magazine honored him in 2021 as part of their POZ 100, both highlighting his work in HIV prevention and education. Nowadays, Dr. Moore, is spreading a wealth of education and information on lifestyle medicine online with his IG accounts, Dr. Leo Moore and Grow With Dr. Leo. He also put all of his expertise in the book The Men’s Preventative Health Guide, which was released this year and aims to steer Black queer men down the healthiest path possible.
