Karamo Brown spun the chance of lifetime starring on MTV’s The Real World into an expansive entertainment and media career. The Emmy award-winning star’s time on the hit reality show in 2004, became the vehicle for the Florida A&M alum to become the TV personality we know today. In the years following his reality TV debut, Brown appeared on several reality shows, including The Next 15, Dr. Drew on Call, and Are You the One? Second Chances. But it was when Brown joined the cast of Netflix’s Queer Eye revival in 2018 that he became a household name. As one of the fab five queer cast members transforming the lives of people from across the United States, Brown became a fan-favorite as the culture expert of the Queer Eye crew. Each episode, Brown would help people realize their full potential by offering tips and guidance in areas like navigating social interactions, building self-esteem, and living a fruitful life. Since starring on Queer Eye, Brown has appeared on Is It Cake?, The Real Housewives of Miami, Dancing with the Stars, and The Daily Show. But it was in 2022 that Brown gained one of his biggest accomplishments yet, the debut of his eponymous talk show Karamo. It was announced in May 2025 that the show had been renewed for a fourth season. We are guaranteed to be seeing more of Brown’s greatness on our TV screens. Right now his motivational videos on IG are giving us life.
