The LA-based stylist and fashion editor Yashua Simmons has been the driving force behind some of the most-talked-about looks to hit the red carpet and magazine covers — including outfits worn by Cynthia Erivo, Giveon, Bad Bunny, Jaden Smith, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, and Teyana Taylor. Simmons’ fashion career includes spending several years as a style editor for the Hearst Fashion Group, fashion director at Out Magazine, a contributing consultant for American Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar, and an assistant costume designer consulting on all men’s costumes for Issa Rae’s Insecure. His client roster continues to expand outside of celebrity talent, with him working with brands such as Fendi, Prada, Cartier, and Nike. 2025 was quite the year for the stylist star, including his work with Usher for the Met Gala, Cynthia Erivo for Harper’s Bazaar’s cover, Ms. Tina Knowles for the Spring 2025 issue of Interview Magazine in April, and Teyana Taylor for Vanity Fair’s Hollywood Issue.
