From vibrant makeup looks to anime-inspired cosplay, Keith Parris seamlessly blends his love of beauty and fashion to craft content that brings joy and inspiration to his growing community of followers. Known as the Icy Amputee — a moniker bestowed to him by the Icy Girl Saweetie herself –– the 26-year-old Brooklyn-native was born with Tibial Hemimelia, leaving him without a shinbone, which ultimately led to him having his left leg amputated at a young age. During his eighth grade year, Parris found solace in journaling and turned to Wattpad to tell his story. Keith ultimately went viral with his digital book Amputee Story. Through sharing his own life experiences, he gained both a career as a content creator and a supportive online community who he could share his experiences with. As his content has continued to grow, he has expanded his work to include modeling for Adidas and becoming a brand ambassador for Fenty x Savage and Carter Wear, using his visibility to advocate for the amputee community. In 2025, he started hosting the online series A Fashion Redo for adaptive fashion market Odea and was honored as part of Queerty’s Pride 50. The Icy Amputee continues to shine, shift narratives, and demystify disabilities.
