Layton Williams

Layton Williams was born for the stage and at an early age. The English actor, dancer, and singer made his mark playing male ballerina Billy Elliot in the eponymously named musical on the West End in 2007. Since those beginnings, William’s career has kept busy both on-screen and on-stage, with hilarious roles in the BBC comedies Beautiful People and Bad Education, and iconic roles in theatre, such as Angel in Rent, Jamie New in Everybody’s Talking About Jamie, and Emcee in Cabaret. He even took on reality TV, becoming runner-up in the 21st season of the popular Strictly Come Dancing series and he narrates the gay dating show I Kissed A Boy. But when he took on the role of the Iceberg in the jukebox musical Titanique, he struck theatre gold. The role earned him the 2025 Laurence Olivier Award for Best Supporting Actor in a musical — with him receiving sweeping praise for his rousing acceptance speech.  Now, coming off of his Olivier Award success, Williams racked up brand deals with Neutrogena, Absolut Vodka, and Google Pixel. He will next be seen on-stage in the UK revival of the musical Kiss of the Spider Woman and the second season of Netflix’s Geek Girl.
