Lil Nas X is the pop star of our dreams. His meteoric rise was retold this year in the HBO documentary Lil Nas X: Long Live Montero. The New York Times Critic Chris Azzopardi wrote: "To watch the singer-rapper Lil Nas X in the documentary “Lil Nas X: Long Live Montero” is to witness a Black queer man embody a power that still feels very new." The review went on to say that the best moments in the documentary were when X was on stage. The artist, who’s equally mesmerizing as a YSL beauty partner, sparked our Summer with “He Knows” with pop star Camila Cabello. Now he is back with new music "Light Again" and “Need Dat Boy,” from his new album Dreamboy. The two time Grammy Award-winner is definitely living the dream. — J.S.M.
